The African Professionalisation Initiative (API) has called for mutually beneficial relationships with institutions and individuals in enhancing the capacity of professional accountants and auditors in Africa’s public sector.
This was disclosed by the Chief Executive Officer of API Kenya, Evans Mulera at the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) 29th Annual National Conference on 17th September, 2024 in Abuja.
The CEO said the partnership is aimed at leveraging expertise and networks in building capacity of professional accountants and auditors in the continent.
In deepening accountability and transparency in Africa’s public sector, the API Chief asserted that the initiative will set standards for public accounting and auditing professionals in Africa.
