Adamawa Governor lauds ANAN MCPD reskilling values

The Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has commended the commitment of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) to continuous enhancement of members’ capacity.

He made this known on Tuesday 2nd July, 2024 at the opening ceremony of ANAN 3rd Session of Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) programme in Yola, Adamawa State.

The Governor stated that the MCPD is pivotal to developing the proficiency of members in the ecosystem of professional innovations and emerging technologies.

Speaking on the state of the nation, he called for true federalismr in granting more autonomy to states and local governments in Nigeria.

He emphasized the need for decentralization of governance in allowing states manage their resources and develop in line with their capacity.
