There is need for continued training and retraining of members in the Public Practice, particularly on current issues affecting the practice of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. This not only aligns with our commitment to capacity building but is also in compliance with the recent recommendation of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC).

The 2007 Practitioners Forum/Workshop is essentially designed to intimate members with issues relating to:

• The Principles and Applications of Capital Allowance in Taxation
• The Principles and Application of Deferred Taxation
• Financial Reporting Council Bill (Act)

Facilitators for the topics would be drawn from seasoned and experienced Practitioners, Academicians, Accounting/Tax Experts and Legal Practitioners.

 The Workshop is compulsory for all members of the Association with practicing certificate and it attracts a registration fee of N10, 000 (Ten thousand naira only) payable in Cash or Bank draft made in favour of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.

Practitioners should be aware that non-attendance at this workshop will lead to withdrawal of practicing certificate of the affected practitioner.
